Colegiul Tehnic ‘Gheorghe Cartianu’
"Gheorghe Cartianu" Technical College from Piatra Neamt, N-E region in Romania, is a big technological high-school with 1361 students and 75 teachers.
The range of qualifications that can be obtained in our school is very broad and can be divided into major areas:
- computers and computer science,
- electronics and telecommunications,
- fine technologies,
- mechanics and metalworking,
- construction and design of buildings,
- textile and leather industry,
- chemistry and environmental protection,
- food industry and services.
In each of these areas, we qualify our students at level 3 or 4. The educational process is realized in:
- 50 classrooms
- 13 workshops
- 19 laboratories (5 computer science)
School has also
- a library with more than 50000 volumes
- a gym
- 2 sports grounds
- a canteen with a capacity of 200 students per turn
- 3 dormitories with the capacity of 600 students
- a conference room with 150 seats

Gheorghe Cartianu Technical College is established in 1961 to present a modern education that catches up with European Standards.
In recent years, CT GhC participated in many international projects. Usually as a host partner, our institution had trained a lot of students from other countries. The teachers that will be involved in this project are highly experienced teachers. awarded in many local and national competitions. They had been trained in international projects to be good trainers for creative, talented students, to protect cultural diversity and cultural heritage.
CT GhC is an Eco-school the green flag been awarded to our school since 2010 and gained again every 2 years after, until present. Among all the ecological measures we take in our school we offer a special attention to the ecological transportation and to the use of green energies. We created prototypes of solar energy heating centrals and also for the energy of wind
