About Project
What is The Solar Car Presentations?
The SarP (Solar Car Presentations) project is being carried out in partnership with vocational high schools and industry representatives from Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey. As this project is also an Erasmus+ project, it has become a focal point of interest among students. The project has two main objectives. The first is to encourage the use of eco-friendly renewable energy sources instead of environmentally harmful fossil fuels and to raise awareness of this issue among people. The second objective is to offer participating students the opportunity to develop themselves in areas such as systematic progress, work discipline, teamwork, and collaboration. Additionally, the project aims to foster interactions between students from different countries, allowing them to discuss their projects or daily lives and form new friendships.
The first of the two exhibition events we have planned for the project was hosted by Karabağlar Atatürk Vocational High School at the Elhamra Theatre in the Konak district of İzmir, where it was presented to the public by project coordinators. Following the presentation, our participating students exhibited the miniature cars they had built in Konak Square. Through this event, students had the chance to see new places. The second exhibition event is planned to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, as organized by our project coordinators. Throughout this project, participants will encounter many new experiences, explore new places, and gain fresh insights.
