E.V.I.C (Electric Vehicles Industrial Cluster)
IKEM - Industrial cluster "Electromobili" was created 25.11.2009 with a decision of the Sofia City Court - Company Division, as a non-profit organizations.
It combines the expertise of companies, organizations and individuals convinced of the future of the Bulgarian electric- vehicles industry. Environmental protection, utilization of renewable energy, implementation of innovations and know-how and latest scientific achievements are basic principles in the search for sustainable solutions for development of "green industry" electric vehicles production in Bulgaria.
Membership is organized on product basis. It includes major companies producing elements, parts and services to convert or manufacture of electric vehicles. Producers of electricity, both traditional and from renewable sources also participate in the cluster. It also has members and representatives of the scientific and educational community. The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is also the Member of IKEM-Industrial cluster.
What are the organisation's activities in the field of this application?
One of the major goals of IKEM - Industrial cluster "Electromobili" is to achieve a significant increase of the consumption of energy in Bulgaria to be from solar and other renewable sources. The development of the electric vehicles industry in the country enables companies to build and implement energy saving and renewable energy systems and technologies in charging stations for public and private use. The cluster needs to support its members by educating the staff for the technical support of solar systems. The organization is already involved in a number of projects and initiatives, related to the HR capacity building and development of specialized educational programs for electric vehicles and alternative energies.
IKEM - Industrial cluster "Electromobili" will lead and participate in all activities as described in the work plan.
